I don't think they will put the 5d on sale again, since the told me over and over that the where sold out and don't get them back soon... but who knows... what timezone are they talking about?

I hope the new cam hits the market.
I tend to buy older generation stuff to save cash. Also, it doesn't hurt to have a product that has given a lot of experience and knowledge to users. Minimizes surprises.

The timing of this Canon SLR sale is interesting since it's hours before the Canon Expo. Perhaps Canon might reveal new SLR's tomorrow, and they might want to sell the current SLR's before people find out there's better cameras around the corner.

Last weekend the 60d was discounted to 850$, and the same price on BHphoto also.
