The VF-3 was pretty good, but I was wondering if you could make one adjustment to the VF-4 (or 5 in the future). The mounting plate on the VF-3 had three 1/4-20 holes. One was by itself and there were two inline with one another. It would be great if you could separate them just a hair more. Why? Well, I'd like to take a manfrotto quick release plate and use two 1/4-20 tripod screws to mount the VF-3's plate to the manfrotto's plate. That way you could eliminate any wiggle from plate to plate. Now I know that wouldn't eliminate wiggle between the VF-3's plate and the body of the camera, but it's a start I suppose. Right now, it barely works. I need to file down a spare 1/4-20 tripod screw to make it fit properly with a second one right next to it. Any thoughts on that?

oooo.. just bought a 5D Mark 3 and looking to get one of these.

    So I followed the steps:

    1) cut a hole in a box
    2) put your junk in that box
    3) make her open the box

  8. Entered! I have the VF-3 and love it! My one complaint is that the mounting holes on the bottom of the VF-3 do not line up with the centerline of the lens. Have they addressed this with the VF-4?

By the looks of those images, it does seem to be a new and improved design, yet, I still have a hunch that the access to the 5Dmk2's power switch is still denied, just like their previous VF-3 viewfinder.

Carry Speed has to be be frank about it to its customers. Is that assumption true?

@Henry - There will be optional brackets available that will align it to fit with just about any camera. It fits perfectly on my RX100 directly. Very cool.
