It has built in rods on each corner held in place with a stretch cord. The rods join together with strong magnets to hold softbox shape. No tools, no loose parts. A lot of people wanted the option of dual handles with the CAME-SINGLE Gimbal. Here's a simple accessory they've added making it easy to mod your SINGLE gimbal into a dual handle system - better stability. With a basic male thread in the center, this looks like it would be pretty compatible with any single-handed Gimbal out there (and there are quite a few now).

Creating Custom Remote Handle to Change Settings in BlackMagic Design Micro Cinema Camera • 2 Comments

My first prototype side handle for the #MicroCinema Camera. I am able to change settings like white balance, shutter angle, ISO, and even Start/Stop video recording. All without diving into the cumbersome menu and trying to navigate. Each button can remapped in the software. I'm obsessed with this camera at the moment. Definitely a novelty type item, but functional as well making your GoPro work a bit better as a stills camera. Adds a cold shoe (led light?), shutter button, placement for camera straps, filter threads (polarizers, nd filters), Tripod Mount, and more ergonomic for handheld photos. Can be found at Kamerar.com

Blackmagic Design Micro Cinema Camera in Varavon Zeuss Cage

My favorite setup so far with the @blackmagicdesign_news #BMMCC #MicroCinema Camera. Placed inside of the @varavon_usa #Zeus Cage (for sony A7s2)! Gives me a wooden hand grip on the side and nice placement for my #Blackmagic #VideoAssist Monitor and @azdenproaudio #SMX30 (Directional + Stereo Mic). Nice complete run-gun setup for ProRes and RAW video recording. Just have to carve a bit off the inside wooden handle to clear buttons, but other than that fits pretty well! @dvestore

CAME-TV CAME-Mini 3 Gimbal Random Clips

A few random parts from my @cametv #Mini3 #Gimbal Demo. Yes it works very well keeping the camera horizon level. No need to cycle power for inverted mode (like old mini2), just rotate the handles. Should be a nice two handle system for that new Sony #A6300 and fast autofocus. Now off to find something to shoot with it.. #sbgc #encoders #stabilizer

Just some random clips from a CAME-TV Mini3 Gimbal Product Overview Video i'm working on. It's a very similar build to the CAME-TV Argo with a sectional Top Handle. The gimbal can operate without the top handle, but I haven't seen an adapter to mount the gimbal frame yet. Until they make an adapter, the top handle has to be used to hang it. Comes with a hardcase and a wireless joystick remote. The battery is a proprietary and mounts to the back like the ARGO's battery. The new gimbal is still on pre-order but should start shipping soon. The gimbal also has a built in wireless video transmitter (SD video not HD).

If you work a lot in #Adobe, these @palettegear Hardware Buttons, Faders, and Dials, let you custom build a hardware interface. They connect through magnets so you can organize them the way you want. Pins interface together. You can program each one to a different common task in Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere. Hoping for some #davinciresolve support too..

These hardware interfaces (push buttons, dials, sliders) are modular for anyone to build out a custom hardware controller for certain apps. Each section can be reorganized and combined via magnets. Right now they are working closely with Adobe for controlling Lightroom, Photoshop, and Premiere. Software will allow you to map each control interface. Will be available at PaletteGear.com.
